In May, I attended a fascinating two-day workshop on the concept of obstructionism in the study of IOs, organized by Nina Hall and Inken von Borzyskowski at Johns Hopkins, SAIS Europe in Bologna. I presented joint work with Bas Heerma van Voss on funding obstructionism in IOs. We discussed what obstructionism entails, how it differs from other related concepts, and what its sources and consequences are in IOs. Stay tuned on further updates.
